Review AccessMyHealth Patient Portal Status and Proxy Info in CST Cerner

This topic is for CST Cerner users who share information or send messages to the AccessMyHealth patient portal.

AccessMyHealth portal status displays in both:

The Banner bar of PowerChart, FirstNet, and SchApptBook.

The Patient Information Workflow page component.

Proxy information displays in:

The Patient Information Workflow page component.

 

Review Portal StatusReview Portal Status

The AccessMyHealth Portal status displays as either Yes or No. This indicates whether the patient or their family members/caregivers (e.g., a parent accessing on behalf of a child) have access to the portal.

Yes – the patient has accessed the portal at least once.

No – the patient has not accessed the portal yet.

Review the AccessMyHealth Portal status in PowerChart or FirstNet:

Banner Bar

Log in to PowerChart or FirstNet.

Open the patient’s chart.

Locate the AccessMyHealth Portal field on the Banner Bar.

Patient Information Workflow Page Component

Log in to PowerChart or FirstNet.

Open the patient’s chart.

Navigate to a Workflow page (e.g., Admission, Rounding, Handoff).

Open the Patient Information component.

The AccessMyHealth Portal status displays in the Patient Portal section.

Review the AccessMyHealth Portal status in SchApptBook:

Log in to Scheduling Appointment Book.

Select an appropriate Bookshelf and choose a book.

Enter the patient’s name under the Appointment tab.

Locate the AccessMyHealth Portal field on the banner bar.

If the AccessMyHealth Portal field does not display, right-click on the Banner Bar.

Select Properties and manually add the field.

Review Proxy InformationReview Proxy Information

Proxy information can only be reviewed in the Patient Information Workflow Page component.

Log in to PowerChart or FirstNet.

Open the patient’s chart.

Navigate to a Workflow page (e.g., Admission, Rounding, Handoff).

Open the Patient Information component.

Proxy information displays in the Patient Portal section.

Notice a prominent flag is also displayed at the top of the component if the patient has proxies.
