Do NOT Send Note to AccessMyHealth Patient Portal (Pharmacist)

 

The Pharmacist Note – Do Not Send To Portal Note Type is intended to support pharmacists in documenting sensitive information that should remain confidential and not be shared with the patient or their proxy. This Note Type should be used in addition to the standard document type.

When to Use

Use the Pharmacist Note – Do Not Send to Portal when documenting sensitive information that should not be visible to the patient in AccessMyHealth.

Examples:

Sensitive psychosocial details

Third-party information

Notes that could cause harm if released to the patient

Workflow

Complete your standard Note (e.g., Pharmacist Clinic Note, Pharmacist Consult).

Create a second note using the Note Type Pharmacist Note – Do Not Send to Portal.

Enter sensitive information into this second Note.

This Note will not display in AccessMyHealth or distribute to CareConnect.

It will distribute to CCs if you complete the CCs field, through Excelleris.
